Many become one to showcase multitude: in addition to co­creative design processes, the focus of ONE is the reinterpretation of regional traditional crafts. Created in cooperation with arts­and­crafts groups from Albania (Nesa), Georgia (Borjgali), and Romania (Zestrea), the first co/rizom collection features home accessories and furniture, most of them based on the interaction of var­ious symbols, materials, typologies, and histories. From embroidered blan­kets to woven kelims, from handmade wooden chairs to carefully crafted boxes, from comfortable sheets to haptically powerful carpentry: ONE sees itself as a colorful journey that collects traditional skills, materials, and origins along the way and makes them visible.
