We consider Sandra Haischberger’s porcelain manufactory in Vienna, feinedinge*, an important fixture of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. Her new series of vases, “Lala,” was created through experimentation with plaster-filled condoms that were then pressed into handwoven wire baskets. The results of this lighthearted process were presented with the aid of a lively banquet at which the manufactory’s most attractive porcelain was used. This tickled the taste buds of both the audience and the festival team, and we’re looking forward to more!
