Peggy Schoenegge, curator at peer to space, puts together exhibitions that deal with the digital age’s effects on our society. In her talk, she will discuss virtual reality as an artistic medium that carries forward art-historical traditions in a new way and enables innovative forms of visual experience. Schoenegge will touch upon both the history of and current developments in the medium and illustrate what sets it apart – in particular with regard to art.
