Gigodesign, Slovenia’s leading industrial-design studio, espouses the philosophy that design isn’t a product of just magic or inspiration, that it’s most importantly a method for solving problems – a method that’s ultimately intended to make all our lives a little better. The fact that Gigodesign places great emphasis on responsibility and the process as ways to encourage useful innovations was proven by its presentation at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. Rather than focusing on finished products, the fascinating creation processes and innovations from a number of different sectors were investigated, from the world’s first mobile speed sensor for Smartphones to a sensor-based rehabilitation tool for stroke patients.
