At various exhibition venues across the entire city, the VIENNA BIENNALE 2017 brought together some 300 designers, architects, artists, and other participants who drew a complex picture of our future digital world with their speculative and utopian (or dystopian) as well as auspicious practical scenarios. Artificial intelligence, automatized working environments, the Internet of Things, unlimited digital communication, transparent human beings, new individuality: Turbo-digitalization is turning our (working) lives upside-down at break-neck speed. But who will look after the interests of human beings in this digital revolution driven by technological and economic forces? This tour pointed out possible solutions.
