A foray through individual life stories, life plans and realities of working life. Beginning with the idea of interpreting a training center as an allegorical answer machine for existential questions, the Polytechnic University of Timișoara’s department of architecture and urban planning presented an introversive, self-reflexive look at the institution’s design and relevance. With the goal of opening doors to new intellectual spaces at universities and in the culture, students looked for answers in the run-up of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and then presented them at the Festival Headquarters North in the Blaues Haus in a large-scale arrangement. Again and again, they encountered the virulent problem of qualified young Romanians leaving the country and visualized this in an unforgettable manner.
