Herrengasse is a hot spot: As a vital platform for contemporary and traditional design, Hg5 invited young Austrian designers to present themselves and their work in temporary showcases at the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2017. Lucretia Schmidt, based in London, created sculptural representations of famous paintings and miniatures in limited editions. For the 100th anniversary of Egon Schiele’s death in 2018, she translated his oeuvre into three-dimensional sculptures.
