What does being at home mean? While exploring this concept, the international collective Guerilla Architects’ two-phase project examined how the skills and sociocultural backgrounds of refugees can be transferred to the architecture and planning of alternative types of dwellings. The didactic and contentual spectrum extended from city tours with newcomers to various public locations in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, then to an exhibition with an afterparty in the mobile urban laboratory OPENmarx and construction workshops held during the second half of the festival. RE-TRACING HOME meant talking, discussing, getting to know one another, and taking a new look at the city that has become our home in many different ways.
