Everything eventually comes to an end, even the design competition of Heimat Wien. Unfortunately. In the leadup to the festival the agency invited sausage stands to reevaluate in light of the architectural, cultural and social developments of the past few years. The jury, Georg Feichtinger, Josef Bitzinger, Johanna Schuberth, Lilli Hollein, Stefan Oláh, Norbert Kettner, and Markus Wieser, chose from among the submissions a range of refreshing concepts that were then presented in the exhibition IS MA WUARSCHT, such as snow globes and VR or found-footage works as an homage to one of the cityscape’s icons.
