What would a film be without the right scenery, without authentic props and suitable production design? For its 30th anniversary, the Association of Austrian Filmdesigners fittingly celebrated Austrian film design with a program including screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and a wardrobe flea market. Association members gave tours of their studios and wardrobe depots, and international film designers such as Michele Clapton (costume designer) and Uli Hanisch (production designer) honored the METRO Kinokulturhaus with their presence to explain their work methods in discussions. A series of fun events demonstrated all the facets of film design.
