“Spotted: three locals.” As it turned out, what we used as a motto for this tour in the Guide 2017, inspired by a well-known travel platform, couldn’t be more fitting. Participants visited companies that produce goods in the Focus District, Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, and learned about them: Starting with the design label URBAN TOOL, which was partially responsible for the revival of Reindorfgasse, it then proceeded to the ski manufactory Ünique Skis, which produces custom skis in a beautiful brick building on Fünfhausgasse, and the traditional Hornmanufaktur Petz, which has been producing handmade combs and brushes out of horn since 1862. In other words, there was a lot to discover in the 15th – and not only the three locals.
