Two MAK Design Kids workshops for eight- to twelve-year-olds (without accompanying persons). The 30.9. has the motto “Hello, Rattling Robots!”. In the current exhibition HELLO, ROBOT., children get to know the robot species in all their forms, meanwhile exploring the meaning of artificial intelligence and algorithms. Afterwards, they build their own simple robot: They give him his individual appearance, and then the so-called Fizzbit shakes and rocks him and sets him into motion. On 7.10. it’s time for “Film Away!”. The next generation of filmmakers learn everything about filming from a genuine film director: They spin out stories, draw storyboards, and produce short films about the MAK on the iPad.
