From Orient to Occident, from Landstraße to Margareten, from pop-up café to repair brunch – from person to person. The participatory ACCIDENT / CCIDENT / ORIENT exhibition produced unique design objects with the help of various handicraft techniques, approaches, and ornaments from old household objects and furniture – for instance a side table was made out of a cupboard door, a kaftan out of bed linen, and crocheted bags out of plastic bags. Here, people could share skills try out techniques and age-old know-how, and en passant get to know new people and tastes.
