1929/1930, specially devised for the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. The pun is on the word Tugend – virtue in German – and the virtue lies in the detail here – whether light switch or door knob, whether glass or marble front, whether cantilever or iconic Barcelona Chair.
This was the very thing that left a lasting impression on the public, who had travelled from Vienna to Brno.
