TORSTEN NEELAND: PERSPECTIVES

rauminhalt_harald bichler space & content

30.9.–8.10.2016

New views and audio-angles were promised by the interdisciplinary show in the gallery Rauminhalt by Harald Bichler.
And the title kept its promise. On show were artistic collaborations with Yohji Yamamoto and the London Candoco Dance Company, a relief-type carpet, and marbled stone objects exclusively designed for Rauminhalt. In cooperation with the silversmiths Jarosinski & Vaugoin, the Vienna design gallery showed a new cutlery design by Torsten Neeland, who lives in London – and even provided an acoustic reflection of the production process: The sound artist Ben Lancaster fashioned sound fragments from the silver workshop into a new composition.
