With BIG OBJECTS NOT ALWAYS SILENT, the Kunsthalle Wien presents the artist and designer Nathalie Du Pasquier in her first major solo exhibition. The self-taught artist was founding member of the Memphis Group surrounding Ettore Sottsass and is renowned as a luminary on the international design scene. The dialogue-oriented presentation of her gaily-colorful patterns and designs alongside her current oeuvre is to an equal extent a visualization of the history of her work’s origins and the connecting lines between design and painting.
