KINETOMANICS
1.10.2016, 2pm
As synthesis of mechanics, electronics, and software, the kinetic works of the Department of Three-Dimensional Design sounds out the space between architecture, design and art – from 3D printing to bionics and automation. While the “Plantoide” shows the technical interpretation of a vegetal organism, the installation “loop 2” casts a new look at the topic of 3D printing. The “Topokopierer” meanwhile reproduces threedimensional objects as sandcast relief. And, based on milling machine software, the “Light Thing” takes the stage with a choreography of light and color. Exhibition created with the friendly support of TTTech Computertechnik.
