INTO THE WHY

Sedici-Verlag

3.–7.10.2016

Great you were da, dear Sedici-Verlag! With its pop-up salon in the 7th district, the three-country collective focused on the theme of rapid publishing and digital mining, and in doing so wandering through the “Da” (“There”).
Jan Knopp (DE/CH), Michael Tatschl (AT), and Olivier Rossel (CH) were the charming guides leading people through the events, who took the opportunity to invite them to one or two stylistic drinks in the Idea Beer Bar. The Sedici-Verlag is operated by students and professors at the HyperWerk, Institute for Postindustrial Design HGK FHNW Basel. In the reading and idea salon, it organized the micro-congress to analyze the proclaimed “Daheit” (“Thereness”) – the unbounded medium of an innovative design method still being developed:
“In the ‘Da’, there’s nothing to be understood, but an awful lot you can work on.”
