Along with the festival came the guests, and along with the guests the fitting moment for the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten and the Prague design studio DECHEM to unpack their finest porcelain. Because what they shelled out of the traditional porcelain cast form after a process of informal experimentation was a feast for the eyes. Organic decorations and patterns in metallic black, white, and cobalt blue adorned the biscuit porcelain lamp stand made by Michaela Tomišková and Jakub Janďourek in meticulous handicraft and based on the classical Augarten vase form.
They then placed their hand-made glass shades – their favorite material – on top.
