“The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is over, the impressions [...] stay forever!” On three days food activist, blogger, and cookbook authoress Alexandra Palla extended an invitation into her communal kitchen designed by EOOS.
In the spirit of communal cooking, everyone cooked, shared, and ate together –
also in cooperation with ÖHTB – Austrian Social Aid Scheme for the Deaf-blind
and High-degree Acoustically and Visually Impaired. The furniture made of Doka
formwork panels – the “Social Furniture Collection” – went public in Austria for the first time after the Architecture Biennale in Venice and at the same time acted as a visually attractive presentation surface for roasting tins, pots, and pans.
