Vienna on visiting the construction site. Four new rooms – designed and interpreted by Gregor Eichinger, Adolf Krischanitz, Roland Nemetz, and Lilli Hollein with Markus Eiblmayr – gradually took shape. The first fabric patterns, sketches, floor plans, and views into the theater suite testified to the individuality that’s always been written in capitals here: With names like Wittmann, Eames, Frank, Jacobsen, Thonet, and many more, each room is stamped with its very
own personality. The Hotel Altstadt Vienna is renowned for its multifaceted flair – its contemporary art collection, the people who live for the art of hospitality here, and the diverse rooms that all have one thing in common: that inimitable Viennese feeling.
