2051: SMART LIFE IN THE CITY

The joint exhibition project of MAK and the Vienna Business Agency, Creative Center departure, sought answers to questions about the future. As part of the VIENNA BIENNALE 2015: IDEAS FOR CHANGE, they highlighted the central role of design for a positive process of change. It presented the ideas of ten teams on future urban everyday life – and they were directly integrated into the urban environment. The opportunity of spinning out visions and digging deeper was offered by the curators’ guided tour with Harald Gruendl (EOOS/Institute of Design Research Vienna) and Thomas Geisler, senior curator of the MAK Collection Design.
