The works of 23 young designers from Romania exemplify the latest trends in product design in their home country. Curated by Attila Kim & Ioana Leca in partnership with Romanian Design Week, the project is based on preference for natural materials and the designers’ interest in traditional arts & crafts. Supported by the Romanian Rural Museum, the show ranges over traditional objects, contemporary products and a ceramics collection. A discussion will focus on the topic of the permanent dialogue between design and handicraft with reference to current trends.
