Curators Patrizia Crivelli and Michel Hueter present a multidisciplinary selection from the two leading Swiss design competitions: the Swiss Design Prize, sponsored by the Confederation, and the Design Preis Schweiz, a private initiative. While the former places the focus on recognising creative talents and quality, the second concentrates on the product in the environment of the market economy – an approach which includes both of them in relevance.
