Vienna and Bratislava are the two capitals in the world that are closest as neighbours. Their geographical relationship is similar for instance to that of Rome and the Vatican or the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. Although people in Bratislava can watch the planes landing at Vienna Schwechat from their windows, nevertheless, the distance seems somewhat greater when seen from the social and cultural perspectives. The exhibition “Servus from Bratislava” in the Walking-Chair Gallery provides an rarely experienced view of Bratislava’s young and remarkable design scene.
