Exhibition 2012

Two exhibitions can be seen this autumn on the special invitation of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and both focus on this year’s guest country of Spain. Our annual solo presentation at Sotheby’s this time has Martí Guixé entering the field. The designer lives in Barcelona and is well known for explicit and counter-conventional approaches to everyday culture and design. In his installation, the culture of wine – claimed by both Spaniards and Austrians – will be rigged out in a completely new way! This year’s group show was held in the Künstlerhaus looks back at ten years of “Nude” and shows a representative selection of works from the meetings programme for young designers,  freelancers, galleries and publishing houses held annually in Valencia. This view of ten years of Nude curated by Alberto Azra not only contains formations of some of today’s best-known Spanish designers, but also showcases the dynamic and exciting creative scene in Spain.
