The Swiss watch company Rado is running a competition for artistic talents based on Rado’s creative approach of constantly aspiring towards innovative design and materials. The concept of the Rado Star Prize is positioned within the international context and offers a career springboard for creative people. For the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2012, the project involving shop window installations is being presented in the Rado Store in collaboration with For Use/Numen. This will mark the launching of the competition, in which every month, from January 2013 onwards, designers can show their installations. The most innovative and visionary project will be awarded the Rado Star Prize Austria 2012 in October 2013.
