Pop-Up Café in the festival headquarters served by Morisson Catering

In this year’s festival headquarters Morisson Catering is hosting the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK Pop-Up Café in the main ballroom of the former Grand Etablissement Gschwandner. In order to offer all visitors an authentic Viennese coffee house atmosphere the café is equipped with furniture of Thonet, precisely with the chairs 107 designed by Robert Stadler and tables by James Irvine from the Muji manufactuerd by Thonet collection. Within impressive 490 square metres the temporary café seats 60 guests, also offers a lounge area and a stage for live acts and many other events.

Food and beverages will be provided by Morisson Catering: In addition to standard classics of the Viennese coffee house culture, such as cakes and strudls or sausages, there will be a range of hot and cold dishes, such as alternating organic lunch menus during the week (Mon―Fri, 12am to 4pm) and brunch on weekends (Sat and Sun, starting at 10 am).
