Objected Tables

The exhibition “Objected Tables” unites three videos by the artists Aldo Giannotti, Markus Hofer and Roman Pfeffer, each of whom produces a video with the other. Markus Hofer made “Coffee Bolognese" (2008) with Aldo Giannotti, who in turn made "Last Supper“ (2010) with Roman Pfeffer and the latter "The Restricted Conference" with Markus Hofer (2011).
Each video shows a table as central motif, an essential and evocative piece of furniture in our everyday reality. By means of the video medium, the project investigates the uses and forms of this object and its social terms of reference as the key theme of the exhibition.
