The departure/MAK d>nite is the evening high spot of the activities in the MAK for the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. The Viennese duo Vandasye (Peter Umgeher, Georg Schnitzer), MAK designers in residence 2012, will stage a cooperative design happening with Dirk vander Kooij (NL), taliaYsebastian (A), Patrick Rampelotto/Fritz Pernkopf (I/A), Michael Anastassiades (GB) and the public.
The two organisers of the current exhibition “MADE4YOU. Design for Change” (until 7 October 2012) tackle the possibilities of a change in (post)industrial production and put together an orienteering course containing appliances for collective production and subsistence – an open-end experiment.
