Originally from London, Sophie Lovell studied biology and design before moving to Berlin in 1994 where she rapidly became an active member of the city’s burgeoning multidisciplinary creative scene. She writes regularly for Wallpaper* magazine and has been their Germany Editor since 2000. She has also written and edited a number of books on design, architecture and graphic design including: Limited Edition – Prototypes, One-Offs and Design Art Furniture (Birkhäuser), Furnish – Furniture and Interior Design for the 21st Century (Gestalten) and Dieter Rams: As Little Design as Possible (Phaidon).
