‘We make things and songs’ is the motto of the Walking-Chair Design Studio & Gallery. For the exhibition ‘Strange Moosic Inn Wien’ this will all be turned around! The gallery in the third district is happy to be able to present Yaya Herman Dune, who is primarily known as being the singer/songwriter of the successful anti-folk duo ‘Herman Dune’. With illustrations, storyboards, drawings, and objects, ‘Strange Moosic Inn Wien’ will show a tantalising cross-section of Yaya’s artistic activities beyond music. There will also be pictures that
have been jointly created with his partner, the artist Mayon Hanania.
For the opening on 3 October, Yaya will interrupt a world tour in order to be able to personally present his works in Vienna
We’ll have to see if his guitar somehow also finds its way into his luggage.
