How does one present highly technical information? Under the title ‘sciTUshow’, students of the Vienna University of Technology (TU), Institute of Art and Design, will be displaying seven different designs dealing with creating a better visibility for the TU at international trade fairs. The goal was to adequately present the university’s research achievements in the areas of innovation and sustainability.
Besides communication and how long visitors remain at a trade fair stand, such important parameters as the transportability, flexibility, possibility for reuse, and costs have been taken into account. Particularly challenging was how to unite its use by various university institutes, each with its own exhibits, under a subtle corporate identity. Modular, open concepts were the result, which
can also be used by the university for presentations outside of a
trade fair context.
