Carte Blanche 2011 — Archiv 2011 — Vienna Design Week

The Festival format Carte Blanche offers selected Austrian and international design people the chance of presenting their projects to the public as part of the festival – free of charge and marked with the “Carte Blanche” seal. Five projects are chosen every year from the received submittances. It is an invitation particularly for projects addressing social issues related to design, or creating new scenarios for the urban space. All Carte Blanche projects this year take place in the festival’s focal district of Vienna Leopoldstadt, the second district. The Carte Blanche projects are sponsored by the financial support of the Erste Bank.
