Live with Them

Wild animals are colonising the city. Because of growing conurbations
and shrinking woodland their natural habitat is becoming more and more confined. Now they are re-adapting and taking back what the city has taken from them. Fox, racoon and wild boar have arrived in the everyday life of the city and can be encountered with increasing frequency between dustbin and alleyway. Tired of dirt and chaos, townspeople are trying to keep the wild animal at bay. But how can we integrate animals into our lives again and live with them in a balanced relationship? Hauer Rumo are supporting the take-over by
the wild creatures of the woods and inviting them to settle in a city like Vienna. The presentation shows how the two designers picture this new partnership.
