In 2011 the SCHEINWERFER project with ‘There-Between’ has been dealing with the new housing scheme that has been planned by the SEG for the location Hackenbergweg, in Vienna’s nineteenth district (architect, Peter Lorenz). This includes examining the transformation process of this allotment garden settlement into luxury flats, as well as neighbourhood issues, and how a project with light as an independent element can influence the planning. Lighting concepts by Francisco Perez, ‘lighting in – lighting out’, and Michael Farkas’s ‘Lichtlenkung’ have been chosen for the realisation, which will be presented with the other projects.

Kicking off the SCHEINWERFER project in 2010 was ‘Fish on the Move’ by Erim Gökalpay, a semi-permanent installation at the boarding house for foreign students at the Spittelauer Lände 10 (architect, Zaha Hadid), on the Donaukanal.
