A show based on the international HABARI design competition for stools and spotlighting ‘slow design’ inspired by cultural roots and social and ecological compatibility. The habari.posterous.com blog includes examples from all over the world. Stools are useful and relatively easy to produce with few resources and locally available materials. With healthy haptics, they provenly encourage active communication, as Charles and Ray Eames realised and also fit perfectly in our small apartments and are ideal for stacking things on.
