Schullin Wien

1.–9.10.2010

In one of Vienna’s most renowned shopping streets for everything related to luxury, you shall encounter a Jewelry shop that has made a name for itself by combining the art of design with the art of craftsmanship. The founder, Herbert Schullin, decided to use the momentum of 3 young students from the Viennese University of Applied Arts and coalesce it with his ideas about Design. This symbiosis has worked well and enabled all parties to gain new insights about yet unexplored horizons; it moved from an internship to full-time employment. Schullin Wien has successfully participated in last year’s Vienna Design Week with the University of Applied Arts as a whole; this year, however, the co-operation is made up of three selected graduates - Michaela Koller, Lisa Grabner und Eva Höflinger - that strive to beat expectations by employing the use of cutting-edge jewelry development techniques. The company is looking forward to present its strengthened competence that arose from this collaboration.
